Coordinate monthly close and forecasting processes for Electrical Sector, Asia Pacific.B. Consolidate, analyze and report financial data of Electrical Sector, Asia Pacific. Working closely with Division finance teams to put together meaningful regional commentaries of financial results (actual & rolling forecasts), as well as other Sector required reports to Electrical Sector Headquarters and regional management.C. Responsible for the control, accounting & reporting of the APAC RHQ ledger (including ensuring that service agreements are in place to facilitate the cash flow in locations with restricted currencies).D. Drive process improvements within scope of job.E. Under-take special analyses to support strategic business decision making, including financial analysis in support of strategic initiatives, capital investments, changing business models, acquisition activity, make vs. buy analysis, pricing models, etc.F. Pro-actively participate in the annual profit planning process, including working with the Division finance teams and headquarters planning teams to develop a solid plan with all required presentation materials for regional and Sector reviews.G. Support preparation of materials for operating and related business reviews with the Corporate/Sector leadership teams.H. Support the preparation of the Strategic Plan financials.I. Undertake assignments / projects as directed by VP, Finance & Planning.Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements 1) Position requires degreed accountant over 5 years of experience. Incumbent must be action oriented, organized, and intelligent, possess good business acumen, and have good interpersonal skills.2) The incumbent also must be able to work with senior financial/business management and communicate financial information in a user-friendly manner.3) Timeliness, accuracy & organizational skills are critical to the success of the incumbent.4)Frequently demonstrates the ability to be a self-starter, solve complex problems and adding value to the business/operations through data-driven, meaningful analysis. Good attention to detail, understand basic accounting concepts and practices, use sound judgment in a variety of situations, exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selection methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
