Description R&D Job Description We are looking for B.Tech. / MS candidates ideally with 0-3 years work experience in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Biostatistics and with specialization in Data Analysis, for a Researcher Position at our Bangalore Innovation Center. The successful candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Data Mining, Information Retrieval, Data Analysis, Statistics and Statistical Modeling, and with experience with working with large Biological (in-vitro assay-derived, in-vivo Clinical-derived) data sets. The successful candidate will be responsible for:· Data mining, collation, cleaning and subsequent analysis plus dashboard reporting of large, varied-format Biological databases· Developing scalable techniques and tools to identify then fix inconsistencies and errors in existing data sets· Quantitative analysis and use of statistical/mathematical methods to identify new and non-obvious insights and solve Business problems using the available data· Front and back-end development of new, consolidated, user-friendly, optimized Database(s) To learn more about this career path, click here. Qualifications The successful candidate should have:· Bachelors and/or Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Mathematics and/or Statistics and/or Biostatistics· Comfort and experience with handling huge Biological data sets· Proficiency in data analysis techniques using state-of-the-art statistical and mathematical tools and techniques.· Development and coding experience with SAS, JMP, S-Plus, SPSS or any other statistical analysis tools· Ability to work well within a team, and within a culturally diverse environments· Ability to work with disciplined speed and agility in response to new Business opportunities and requirements· Willingness to work in a fast-paced, disciplined, result-driven organization and culture.· Excellent English communication skills required: speaking, reading, writing Requisition Number: RND00002160
