The primary role of the Project manager is to code, test, and support all types of conversions and interfaces related to various Healthcare IT system. Essential ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager for Installations is the focal Point for all site planning and backlog management activities for the installations for GE Healthcare imaging equipment. This person is responsible for effectively managing the entire installation of the equipment including: equipment/room layouts, customer and contractor interface, and communications link to the sales and service representatives. This person is also responsible for site readiness, customer satisfaction, during the installation cycle as well as installation process improvements. He/She must be able to drive increased installation efficiency and provide feedback to manufacturing and design engineering on instability and product issues/enhancements. Qualifications/Requirements:* This position is open to external and internal candidates. * Bachelor's degree and at least one of the following: - at least 2 years of project management experience or a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of project management experience OR - at least 2 years of medical device equipment installation process experience or a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years medical device equipment installation process experience * Minimum 3 years working with customers in a service environment. * You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history and educational background. * Willingness to take a drug test. * You must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Desired Characteristics* 5+ years of experience preferred * Experience with large-scale project management where deadlines were met on or ahead of schedule; construction or installations experience preferred * Demonstrated customer service skills * High energy personality, that thrives working long hours in difficult and pressurized circumstances *Time management skills; Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities * Proven ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams * Strong written and verbal communications skills that can effectively communicate with a diverse workforce * Ability to drive improvements in efficiency * Ability to provide constructive feedback to installation team and contractors * Knowledge/experience with the healthcare industry; knowledge of GE Healthcare CT, MR, X-ray and Molecular Imaging products preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge or experience with CAD and other project management computer programs preferred
