The position will have responsibilities for logistics (import & export, goods delivery & billing) of Masoneilan & Consolidated Brand products including equipments and MRO. In detail, the desired candidate will also be responsible for providing functional & commercial support for the sales order administration. Essential ResponsibilitiesThe Materials & Export Coordinator is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. - Provide complete range of materials and export services to assigned orders or projects of GE organizations as needed to document, clear for export, provide invoices, shipping instructions, certificates of origin, etc. - Advise on domestic transportation, and determine and book appropriate international transportation via Ocean / Air including space reservations considering contractual and spot pricing opportunities and service levels required - Review incoming orders for acceptable terms, verify credit approvals, shipping terms, and invoicing requirements - Responsible for Letter of Credit administration and drafting when appropriate - Comply with Federal regulations on U.S. funded foreign sales - Work with Forwarders, Brokers, and Transportation companies as needed - Review of new foreign purchase orders and basic ordering agreements and performing the necessary systems work to assure appropriate level of order administration - Review letters of credit and amendments for acceptability of terms and for consistency with the order or basic contract - Draft for collection as required - Provide invoice processing for customer billing and exporting - Monitor status of shipments in the hands of forwarders, communicate with forwarders, and provide the release and documentation necessary to accomplish the materials export - Work with sales accounting and credit and collection to support invoicing and collection of receivables - Administer materials export and import transactions for various department projects Qualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in the materials and export business) - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred - Basic understanding of Federal regulations relative to import/export transactions - Knowledge of accounting / financial procedures - Strong oral and written communications skills - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
