GE ASM's are the first point of contact for the end user for GE electric drive system products and the primary customer interface for OHV product issues Essential Responsibilities- Drive system troubleshooting - New equipment drive system commissioning - Collect regional field reliability data and feedback to headquarters engineering & service teams - Conduct field testing as directed by headquarters Engineering & Service teams - Promote GE electric drives in region and recommend upgrades - Warranty claim review and administration - Provide regional market intelligence to headquarters - Interface with key distributor personnel - Maintain contact with key mine personnel Qualifications/Requirements:2 year technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time Desired Characteristics- Working knowledge of GE OHV drive systems - Commercial and technical expertise - Fluent in English - 2 year technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Demonstrated ability in customer communications - Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
