Hotel Audit Consultant-1201154Description* Reporting and analysis of Hotels pre-trip data to identify hotel rate saving opportunities.* To maximise the use of preferred hotels and rates.* To assist in driving compliance to Barclays’s hotel policy and hotel programmes.* To assist in the delivery of tangible cost savings.* To analyse Hotels pre-trip data to identify bookings made at non preferred hotels.* To provide an analysis of out of policy bookings.* To provide an analysis of bookings made preferred hotels over and above agreed contracted rates.* To contact hotels to obtain rates or amend the room type booked when out of policy and available.* To amend or modify bookings through access to the relevant Global Distribution Systems (GDS).* To benchmark confirmed future bookings and to rebook should lower rates be available under the same terms and conditions in the same hotel or other preferred hotels in the same location and within a reasonable distance of the hotel originally booked.* Where authorised, to contact the booker / traveller to seek to reconfirm bookings at alternative preferred / lower priced hotels.* To provide a detailed spreadsheet showing activity undertaken during the week by close of business every Friday of that week* To provide a summary of savings achieved and declined during the week and an analysis of bookings audited and amended/not amended by reason code by close of business every Friday of that week.American Express is an equal opportunity employer.* Global Distribution System experience (Galileo minimum)* Excellent communicator, written and verbal* Strong negotiator* Decision making and problem solving skills* Ability to influence others* Time Management* Computer Literacy (intermediate Excel)* Analytical Skills* Ability to work under pressure* Flexibility* Self Motivator* Team PlayerJob: TravelPrimary Location: Singapore-Singapore-SingaporeSchedule: Full-time
