Job Number: 1393884 BusinessGE Global Growth & Operations Business Segment: Global Growth & Operations - Staff Posted Position Title: HR Operations Manager, Global Growth & Operations Career Level: Experienced FunctionHuman Resources Function Segment: Functional Management Location: Hong Kong City: Hong Kong Relocation AssistanceNo Role Summary/Purpose:As a member of the GG&O HR leadership team, the HR Operations Manager will provide leadership to the region HR Operations teams and partner closely with the Global HR Shared Service team to standardize and digitize the HR transaction processes and utilize OHR-enabled HR tools to drive HR compliance, productivity and efficiency. The location for the role is flexible. Essential Responsibilities•Work and interface with Global Business Services (an in-house organization that provides HR administration and accounting services to GE business) leadership team to ensure a high quality simplification and service delivery of HR services provided by GBS employee service team •Provide leadership, direction and expertise for the full scope of HR transaction processes by leveraging lean six sigma and OHR-enabled e-tools •Work with the global HR Shared Service team to represent region needs, share/learn the best practices and participate in the development of global HR e-tools and processes •Work with the region HR Ops team to standardize and digitize the common HR processes from pre-on boarding through exit to drive HR compliance, productivity and efficiency •Work with the GBS leadership team to drive the quality of core services delivery provided by GBS employee service team through metrics and dashboard •Continuously assess the needs and expectations of various stakeholders, benchmark to identify best practices, establish a roadmap for world-class HR operations and drive its execution •Develop & implement defined metrics to effectively measure simplification progress…. publish dashboard periodically and communicate to all key stake holders •Drive the Global HR Risk council agenda outside US and facilitate the HR risk projects execution in the regions •Develop and coach the region HR Ops teams and facilitate best practices sharing across regions Qualifications/Requirements:•A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Accounting. •Minimum fifteen years of total experience marked by steady career progression and a track record of having successfully led teams. •Work experience should include HR Generalist or Specialist roles (exposure to employee relations, compensation, recruiting and performance management) and HR Operations (in-depth knowledge and experience in HRIS, OHR, HR analytics and reporting, payroll & benefits management, statutory compliance and audit) •Superior project management skills with experiences in leading global projects; excellent organization, follow-up skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks •Experience in change management, conflict resolution techniques and influencing skills in a fast-paced environment •Ability to be credible and influence/drive right behaviours & strong collaboration across multiple businesses & countries •Outstanding communication, coaching/mentoring/leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization •Proven analytical and problem solving skills; process orientation and metrics-driven •E-savvy and strong HR knowledge of systems and process Desired Characteristics•Six Sigma certification •Global experience – worked at least a year or completed education overseas
