Job Number: 1492471 BusinessGE Home & Business Solutions Business Segment: GE Appliances & Lighting Posted Position Title: Field Product Manager - Malaysia Career Level: Experienced FunctionSales Function Segment: Client, Account and Affiliate Origination and Management Location: Malaysia City: Kuala Lumpur Postal Code: 50470 Relocation AssistanceNo Essential Responsibilities - Drive profitable growth for all product lines and craft “ Go-to-Market ” strategies - Manage all aspects of the product(s) life cycle starting with the detailed planning phase (in development) until the product is terminated. - Define market requirement, product mapping, new products, additions and changes based on market analysis. - Understand and develop the product positioning strategy based on regulatory pressure, competitive threats and customer needs. - Help assess modality portfolio competitiveness and drive clear product positioning via the execution of marketing communications plan - Develop and manage the Multi-Generation Product Plans (MGPP) for each product group for next 3 years. - Owning the Growth Playbook content for assigned product/portfolio and supplemental domain areas. - Provide regular, updated sales volume forecasts for the product range to supply chain teams based on inputs from the sales functions - Provide product knowledge & training to the teams and key customers. - Provide and develop literatures and sales tool kits to support sales teams. - Keeps abreast of all industry trends and maintain effective analysis and able to communicate the information succinctly at short notice. - Others to be deemed necessarily. Qualifications/Requirements: - Min Bachelor’s Degree in a professional discipline such as Electrical Engineering. - 3- 5 years of relevant experience - Extensive product management experience with decent experience at senior level and exposure to membership product marketing would be a distinct advantage. - Technical knowledge and lighting design capability will be an advantage. - Strategic thinker and entrepreneurial-minded, with the ability to take initiative. - Possess good interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with strong analytical ability. - Ability to work independently under pressure with business development skills. - Good command of English both written and spoken and PC literate.
