Position Vacant: Director of Studies (EFL)
Location: Yangon, Myanmar.

Description: EduLink Australia is a study abroad consultancy service based in Yangon,
Myanmar. We are opening an English language centre in February, and are looking for teachers
to join our team. This is an opportunity to be a part of, and grow with, a small but vibrant team,
and experience life in one of Southeast Asia’s most amazing countries. The position would suit a
person with a genuine interest in education, who seeks opportunities for professional
development and promotion (not just a job, but a career). The successful applicant will be
required to lead the team of teachers to prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons to
learners of English as a foreign language.
Contract length: 12 months +.
Salary: Flexible arrangements can be made according to qualifications and experience.
Selection criteria: Proficient native English speaker, CELTA or equivalent qualification. A
university degree. Experience teaching English for specific purposes an advantage. Experience
with curriculum development an advantage. Demonstrated leadership, management experience
desirable. General computer and Internet skills. Genuine interest in education. Personal qualities:
professional, reliable and honest. Enjoys teaching English, and is fun to work with.
