PRIMARY FUNCTION:Provide leadership and support to optimize and standardize designated business systems across all Vehicle Group sites in the Asia/Pacific region.Coordinate and drive the implementation of the ELSS (Eaton Lean Six sigma), EQS (Eaton Quality System) and ProLaunch. Determine best practices and develop plans for cross group implementation using resources from the best practice facility and Operations Excellence and Quality and EHS if required. Develop the linkage between cost out plans and ELSS initiatives at each facility to prioritize the implementation timing such that the cost out targets can be not only reached but also exceeded. Assure robust quality systems are in place to maximize customer satisfaction. Drive the integration of the EBS (Eaton Business System) across all sites and monitor the effectiveness through the process.Responsible for Asia Pacific?s Environment, Health and Safety, manager and solve EHS issues, improve and develop EHS process and rule.2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:A. Develop and implement an annual Operations Excellence/Quality Integration Plan for each of the respective plants in conjunction with the plant leadership. The plan should support EQS, PBA (Performance Based Assessment)/ELSS, Process Control, Cost Out opportunities and overall EBS integration and link to APEX (Annual performance excellence) goals.B. Conduct at a minimum, annual assessments at each plant to monitor progress and identify best practices within the operations. Share those best practices with remaining plants and Operational Excellence and Quality Staff.C. Provide advanced planning support in the development of new processes and services including process control and Lean techniques on new programs to ensure Flawless LaunchD. Monitor Cost Out performance at each plant and recommend opportunities for Cost Out projects to fill any gaps.E. Analyze key quality metrics related to both the Eaton Balanced Scorecard and customer systems and perform periodic reviews to evaluate results and establish action plans to close the gaps at an operational level.F. Design and implement ELSS training programs for key personnel in conjunction with other managers in the organization and the plant lean coordinators. Conduct and / or coordinate training when appropriate.G. Drive the integration of the Eaton Quality System at all sites and drive effectiveness of the tools.H. Monitor the effectiveness of the Quality systems at each location and participate on the resolution of major quality issues through the 8D process.I. Represent the Automotive Group with the customers in the region on overall quality issues and systems integrations (improvements) when necessary.J. Maintain contact and coordinate actions with the Eaton Regional Manager to share best practices across Eaton in Asia/Pacific (Power of One).K. Provide guidance and support for new supplier selection and existing supplier process improvements.Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements Requirements:Bachelors Degree in engineering, business, industrial technology or other approved fieldAt least seven years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality assuranceDemonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, ISO/TS standards and their application, continuous improvement methods, approaches and tools, including strategic management and project management; Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Manager preferred.Practical application experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodology (Green / Black Belt preferred)Fluency in English required.Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead changeRelocation benefit provided?
