Job Number: 1496736 BusinessGE Global Growth & Operations Business Segment: Global Growth & Operations - Headquarters Posted Position Title: Business Development Manager Career Level: Experienced FunctionBusiness Development Function Segment: Business Development Location: Hong Kong City: Hong Kong Relocation AssistanceYes Essential Responsibilities• work with the central GG&O team to support GE’s Regional leadership teams and the GE Global Businesses in support of the development of the Company’s overall global growth strategy with a particular emphasis on new markets, technologies and adjacent growth opportunities; • analyze regional and global business requirements, perform gap and opportunity analysis for current GE portfolio, and define strategic and tactical steps to best position GE for accelerated growth; • partner with regions on the Company’s business development and inorganic activities in support of the strategic growth initiatives of the Company; • support the strategic operating mechanisms (Growth Playbook, S2, etc.) and other strategic initiatives of the GGO • work closely with the GE Regional and Global Business BD teams to support the generation and execution of a wide range of business development activities, including mergers & acquisitions, Joint Ventures, partnerships and investments • Support all aspects of the deal process including target screening, valuation, due diligence, deal structure, contract negotiation, deal communication process (internal and external), and closing process; Work with the VP, Business Development in developing and implementing global processes for the GGO BD teams including the use of data and other tolls used for business development analysis and support. Qualifications/Requirements:• Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS), Finance, Information Systems, or Engineering concentration preferred and/or at least two years’ experience Strategic Planning, Financial Analysis or GE Corporate Audit Staff • Analytical, creative and business focused problem solver • Willingness to travel significantly at times • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated teamwork skills • Strong working knowledge of English language (oral and written) • Track record of delivering successful business process initiatives • Proven program and project management capabilities • History in managing complex projects with multiple work streams • Strong communication skills for dealing with numerous internal and external stakeholders including senior GE leadership and external parties • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows • Demonstrated GE Growth Values • Confidence / Assertiveness
